2012 BMW 528i Sedan

The BMW 5 Series is known for being one of the most unsurpassed sports sedans in the world.  It is not easy to make something great, even greater but BMW seemed to manage that.  Peterson BMW of Boise is proud of BMW’s  latest achievement, the 2012 BMW 528i Sedan. At a starting price of $46,700*, the BMW 528i is considered one of the most affordable luxury sedans.  Just because the price is reasonable doesn’t mean it lacks on quality.   As a matter of  fact, the 528i showcases BMW’s  newest  engine —a high-precision, direct-injection 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology providing an impressive combination of power and efficiency.

About the 5 Series

Inside, you won’t be disappointed with the latest in technology, comfort and entertainment.  Standard on the BMW  will  include an engine Start/Stop button, Bluetooth® for hands-free phone connectivity, Dynamic Cruise Control, a leather-wrapped, power tilt/telescopic and multi-function steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, a 12-speaker, 205-watt hi-fi audio system with HD Radio, and iPod connectivity. You can even remotely open windows, and have them automatically close when the door locks are activated from the exterior.  As with any BMW, the 528i allows you to customize your vehicle with options that fit your lifestyle.
For example, an optional 600-watt Premium hi-fi system with Dolby Pro Logic sends a rich output to 16 speakers (including subwoofers under each front seat) The standard iDrive display can also show driving directions and Real Time Traffic Information when the hard-drive-based navigation system is ordered. Opting for the BMW Assist Convenience plan bolsters the vehicle experience with unlimited Google Maps database connectivity for personalized directions.
There are additional extras that can be added to your  528i and 528i xDrive  like the Side and Top View Camera systems,  a Lane Departure Warning system and BMW’s Head-Up Display system just to name a few.

BMW prides itself on the safety of their vehicles.  The 528i has front and side-impact airbags, a front- and rear-seat Head Protection System and antilock brakes are supplemented with Dynamic Stability Control and Dynamic Traction Control. The 528i xDrive adds standard Hill Descent Control. The standard BMW Assist Safety Plan includes Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Request with alerts, and Enhanced Roadside Assistance services, among other features.  Let say you were involved in a crash, a Crash Sensor activates a Battery Safety Terminal disconnection of the alternator, fuel pump and starter from the battery, all the while automatically unlocking the doors and turning on the hazard and interior lights so that you can concentrate on getting out quickly and safely.
Whether you prefer  a more luxurious or more performance-focused drive, Peterson BMW of Boise can assist you with the best BMW experience possible.  We feel that with a new engine,  features not found on competing vehicles, the BMW 5 Series has no trouble keeping its position as one of the greatest sport sedans.
