BMW X5

Peterson BMW of Boise saw very little in the way of change on the new 2012 BMW X5.   The BMW X5 is full of features with a choice of engines that makes this luxury crossover SUV a hit with our customers.  BMW customers enjoy several engine choices, ranging from a stout turbocharged six-cylinder to a  twin-turbo V8 or a diesel.  As with most BMWs,  the X5 interior  is luxurious with only the highest quality materials.   BMW customers will love the X5’s  nicely shaped and comfortable seats. For all-around excellence, however, the X5 is hard to beat.

Driving Impressions

When driving the  2012 BMW X5 you will notice that it is one of the best-handling midsize luxury crossovers around. Whether taking it out on the back roads or on the interstate, the X5 handles great. The X5 exemplifies BMW’s  handling ability in the SUV arena. You’ll notice the elevated ride height and considerable curb weight on tight roads, though. Engine performance is strong throughout the whole X5 lineup, even with the base six-cylinder.
