Halloween Events you Don’t Want to Miss

We can’t believe that Halloween is next week! There is so much to do this time of year in the  Treasure Valley, we wanted to share a few of our favorite Halloween activities. So round up your family and friends and check these out:

 

Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is the most popular event that Zoo Boise puts on. Join in on the Halloween family fun on Saturday, October 28 from 10am to 5pm.  There will be costumed characters passing out candy, costume contests for all ages, games, photo ops, face painting, special Halloween themed animal enrichments, of course the zoo, and much more!

Proceeds from all activities are used for improvements to your zoo. Zoo Boise will be open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with last admission at 4:30 pm. Entrance to Boo at the Zoo is $7 for adults, $4.50 for seniors (62+), $4.25 for kids (3-11), and infants 2 and under are free. This event is free to Friends of Zoo Boise members.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

This is a Treasure Valley favorite. This year, Linder Farms is the official corn maze if the Boise State Broncos! Enjoy the pumpkin patch, corn maze and so much more. Visit Linder Farms Facebook Page for the latest events and specials. This family friendly event is sure to become your family’s tradition.  Here are few attractions that your family may enjoy:

Howl-O-Woof Pooch Parade & Costume Contest

Dogs like Halloween, too! Dress your doggy up for Halloween and join us at Storey Bark Park in Meridian on Saturday, October 28th, for the 3rd Annual Howl-O-Woof Pooch Parade & Costume Contest. It’s FREE to participate; no pre-registration required. Simply arrive by 12 Noon and line up with your leashed dog(s). The parade will begin at 12:15 pm, during which time a panel of judges will pick their favorite costumes in several prize categories. People are encouraged to dress up, as well! Presented by Meridian Parks & Recreation.
